Oppo has came up with their innovative idea in MWC, that is named as Mesh Talk. This technology can switch a smartphone into walkie talkie with some more added features.
This new technology allows the users to make calls and send messages without any cellular, Wi-Fi or bluetooth connection between the phones and it works with in the range of 3 km with the other oppo phone with mesh talk feature. The users can also enjoy group chats with this.
This technology will be available in upcoming mobiles from oppo and to bring up this technology oppo has designed a special chip that will be integrated in feature oppo mobiles.
This mesh talk uses a customized special chip as hardware component and the advantages of using this chip listed by oppo are:
- Decentralisation
- Reduced connecting time
- Lower power consumption
- High privacy
However oppo does not provide any information regarding it's availability in market. Mesh Talk will be useful to users in specific situations such as during natural disasters, emergency time, city outer limits, campaigning in forests where there is no chance for availability of cellular network.
Along with this mesh talk, oppo in MWC also announced their indisplay camera technology and tipped that in general this indisplay cameras will have lower image quality when compared normal cameras and they are trying their best to improve the quality with image processing techniques.
With all of this we can know that oppo is investing a lot for their research & development, and we can expect many more innovations from oppo in feature.
