The World's first 8K TV was launched by Samsung India On 4/6/2019. This was a new benchmark in TV technology and it is targeted for luxurious homes with the price of premium version at Rs.59,99,900/-.

First of all let me inform you the different Size of this TV and their prices. The Samsung offers this QLED 8K Tv's in four different sizes as following.
  • 98 inch (247 cm) @ Rs.59,99,900/-
  • 82 inch (207 cm) @ Rs.16,99,900/-
  • 75 inch (189 cm) @ Rs.10,99,900/-
  • 65 inch (163 cm) @ Unreleased 
The one key highlight of this TV is it's 8K resolution with 33 million pixels which is four times the 4K TV'S and 16 times the full HD TV'S. 

  • AI Upscale to 8K:

Ok, the display is really great and plays videos with 8K Resolution, but is this compulsory to have the video Source with 8K Resolution? 

No it's not necessary to have the source with 8K resolution. What ever the video provide with any resolution it upscales the the video Resolution to 8K using Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Quantum 8K processor.
