Xiaomi Reveals List of Mobiles eligible for Android Q Update

Xiaomi in it's China forums revealed the list of it's Redmi and Mi phones those will get an Android Q based MIUI update. Xiaomi has started working on their MIUI 11 update since January, but there is no information regarding it's availability. 

But this MIUI based on Android Q will be available to this list of mobiles in fourth quarter of this year and first quarter of next year. 

List of Mobiles to get Android Q based MIUI Update:

Fourth Quarter of 2019

  • Mi 9
  • Mi 9 SE
  • Mi 8
  • Mi 8 Explorer Edition 
  • Mi 8 In Display Fingerprint Edition 
  • Mi Mix 2s
  • Mi Mix 3
  • Redmi K20 
  • Redmi K20 pro

First Quarter of 2020

  • Redmi Note 7
  • Redmi Note 7 pro

These are the mobiles on which Xiaomi is working at present to give Android Q update and more phones may be added to list later.

Xiaomi also stressed on it's words that this is just a rough estimated time and actual availability of the update may vary.

This is the information provided by Xiaomi on it's china forums. So, this update may be first available in china and spread globally later.

At present the beta version of Android Q is available to Mi Mix 3, Mi 9 and Redmi K20 pro in china. Xiaomi also listed the various known issues in these devices running with Android Q beta version on it's website Mi.com
